Greetings From California: Wining in San Francisco

Greetings From California: Wining in San Francisco

Our last day on the trip of a lifetime, my friend, Kelly, and I went on a wine tour in Sonoma. You can't go to California and not drink wine, right? We went to a couple beautiful wineries and sipped sample after sample. Then ended the tour with a view of the Golden Gate bridge.

Our first stop was at Robledo Family Winery. It was everything you expected of a winery- hills lined with rows of grapes for harvesting, a big barn used as a tasting room, and barrels everywhere. The history of this winery is a great story of love and family, you just feel at home here.

I had dressed up because I wanted to feel extra fancy while being on a "fancy" wine tour (I'm such a girl, I know). I wore a terracotta maxi dress from Forever 21 with layered necklaces. The statement necklace is a turquoise piece from Anthropologie. And as always I hosted my signature arm party. While at the wineries, I put a green flannel from Buckle over my dress for a more modest look while sitting across from some older couples sampling with us.

We visited another winery, with a great red wine selection, to round out the tour. After we were good and tipsy it was off to the famous bridge! Our tour guide surpassed the popular, very crowded vista point to take us to another viewing spot that was a little off the beaten path. It was amazing. It was the perfect way to end our tour as well as our time in California. Can't wait to come back and explore more of this beautiful state.
